As part of TempRE Release 8.2, enhancements are being introduced to support the latest HMRC VAT guidance for qualifying Standard Placement medical workers.
What Will Change?
Trust users will see clearer visibility of VAT treatment throughout the recruitment and booking process.
Enhancements include:
- Clear identification of VAT status for qualifying Standard Placement workers.
- Additional VAT information available within candidate rate views.
- Visible indicators showing whether a worker is VAT Applicable or VAT Exempt.
- Updated invoice calculations based on the VAT status provided by the supplying agency.
Will Clients Need to Update Existing Bookings?
No. Liaison is planning a data update to support qualifying bookings already in the system. No action is required from trust users for bookings covered by this update.
Reporting Changes
Reporting will be updated to reflect the new VAT treatment where applicable. During the transition period, some reports may continue to show previous VAT calculations until the system updates are fully deployed.
