Candidates at Scottish trusts are automatically enrolled in the Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA). The Pension Questionnaire in the candidate’s Tasks section on TempRE confirms SPPA management and links to the opt-out form, if needed can be found at the below link:

Refund eligibility
If an opt-out form is submitted within three months of enrolment, the candidate will be opted out and refunded both pension contributions and the reduced pay rate.
If submitted after three months, the candidate will be opted out but only eligible for a pension contribution refund (not the pay rate difference) by completing a REFI Refund Application form, which must be sent to the SPPA for processing.
