In the first instance, a candidate will need to contact their trust as a MATB1 form will need to be sent to us directly from the trust. Once received, the Payroll team will use this form to determine eligibility for maternity pay.
If the Payroll team check the eligibility and see that the candidate is not eligible, they would then issue them with an SMP1 form.
