If "Association Requested" shows in the top-left of the Candidate Profile, the candidate has not yet accepted the association. You can only view, add, or edit limited information. The same applies if the candidate has chosen to dissociate ("Dissociated").
Note: This applies to your Bank candidates. For supplier candidates, only limited details are shown on one screen.
To edit a candidate's profile, follow these steps:
- Navigate to Candidates > My Candidates and use filters to search
- Select a candidate from the list to view their Profile
- To reconnect with a candidate who has left your organisation, click Send Association Request
- Update personal details or group memberships on the Profile page as required
Editing a candidate's details
- Click Edit on the profile page beside each section to modify it. The section will expand to show editable fields, however you cannot amend the candidate's primary email, as it uniquely identifies them. The candidate can update it themselves
- Edit existing details or add new ones, like next of kin. You can only modify data relevant to your organisation and role
- Click Save to close the section and display the updated information in read-only mode
- The candidate is then notified of changes via their Notifications list but must accept or reject changes in the General section; their view does not update automatically
On the Professional page, you can edit the following sections:
- Professional membership
- Search criteria
- Skills
- Competencies
- Restricting candidates to work within specific NHS organisations (supplying collaborative banks and supplier agencies only)
- Adding internal notes against a candidate's record (internal only and not visible to the candidate)
